Numerous lay communities have sprung up around the Monastic Community of Jerusalem with one and the same central calling: liturgical praise. Like the brothers and sisters, the members of the lay communities draw from the Livre de Vie to live out their own spiritual vocation.
These lay communities include people of all ages and from all walks of life in about twenty professional, social, cultural, student or ecumenical groups, among others. Each lay community is unique and ranges from the most active to more contemplative, with their own schedule of events: retreats, teachings, weekly meetings, pilgrimages…
